Career Level Review - Air Traffic Assistant, FV-2154

The following is the link to the FAA’s career level review decision: http://www.nagelocalr310.org/career_level_review_ata_2154.pdf.

Instead of conducting an individual review of each employee’s performance, the FAA conducted a position review. The FAA has been advised that the Union considers the career level review report to be a violation of Article 51, and has demanding that the report be rescinded. The following message was sent to the FAA.

Tom,

This report is a violation of Article 51. The agreement was for the Agency to conduct a career level review of the job performances of each individual bargaining unit employee according to the individual career lever performance definitions that were not taken into consideration during the conversion from the general schedule pay scale to the new core compensation pay plan, not an OPM position evaluation of the 2154 Series as a whole – especially when the position evaluation of the 2154 Series as a whole used an old general schedule pay scale position description that was completely redesigned in the conversion to the core compensation pay plan to be individual career level performance definitions. We never requested, or agreed to, a position evaluation, and as such, this report must be rescinded immediately.
