Pay Negotiations Round One

The first round of pay negotiation has been completed. The second round is scheduled for the week of August 13. Due to an agreed upon gag order, the Union is restricted from providing any detail or information at this time.

However, after spending three full days discussing the issues, the Parties are moving forward towards reaching a mutual agreement.

Flight Service Union Representative Vote

The votes have been counted and certified by the NLRB. Out of 1056 ballots cast, 431 voted “yes,” 598 voted “no”, and 27 were challenged. This vote has many in the labor movement scratching their heads. The majority of the flight service employees working for Lockheed Martin voted “no” for union representation by NAATS, choosing instead to go it alone as “at-will” employees and just hope for the best.
