Technical Support to Specialized

Core Compensation - It appears the FAA has reclassified the Air Traffic Assistant (2154) position from Technical Support to Specialized. The following is the series and title summary:

FV-2154 -- Air Traffic Assistance Series (Specialized)
This series includes positions that involve the performance of work in support of air traffic control functions. Positions in this series require a knowledge of and skill in applying air traffic control procedures, but do not require knowledge of aircraft separation standards or the ability to provide preflight or in-flight safety or weather briefings.

Authorized titles:
Air Traffic Assistant for non-managerial positions.
Supervisory Air Traffic Assistant for managerial positions.

Performance Award Payment Schedule

The FAA has advised that the processing of performance awards for NAGE employees is nearly completed. The awards are currently on schedule to be paid in July.

Payment of Performance Awards

An e-mail message was sent to the FAA inquiring as to when bargaining unit employees can expect to receive payment of performance awards. Please stay tuned.
