ERIDS Allocation

Due to the limited amount of workstations, each Flight Data Unit is scheduled to only receive one ERIDS workstation.

Thank you for the information. The FAA is moving forward with national implementation of ERIDS. Each flight data unit is supposed to receive one ERIDS workstation. The Union has requested that at least two ERIDS workstations be posted in each of the flight units, however, the FAA has yet to respond to any of our inquiries or requests.

In labor and employer relationships, inaction by the employer usually means that the answer is “no”. Boston Center FDCS is also a test site for ERIDS, and they had relayed that one ERIDS workstation is ample.
